Thushaan Kuna (Kunabalasingam) (born 26 May 1989 in Germany) is a German /Sri Lankan Semi Professional footballer/ Fashion Model and TV Presenter.
He started his football career with Friedrichshaller SV. After spending nine years with Friedrichshaller SV, he transferred to SG Siemens Karlsruhe, which has a youth cooperation agreement with Karlsruhe SC (2.Bundesliga). Kuna played one year for SG Siemens Karlsruhe and decided, due to the long distance, to sign with FC Heilbronn.
In February 2010, Kuna signed his first semi-professional contract with Luton Town FC, a Conference Premier Square Club in England. Luton Town FC sent him on loan to Hampton Richmond Borough FC (Conference South) in order to gain some experience. Prior to signing with Luton Town FC, Shawn Gale from Havant and Waterlooville was also interested signing him.
His agent Volker Knappheide, who was one of Mesut Özil`s (National Player Germany) youth coaches and a Bundesliga professional himself (VFL Bochum), was interested in bringing him back to Germany. Kuna went for trials with Rot-Weiss Oberhausen (2.Bundesliga) but did not sign with Oberhausen due to Oberhausen`s lack of financial means.
In July 2011, he signed with Wuppertaler SV (Regionaliga West) after declining several other offers. Wuppertal plays against Bundesliga reserve teams such as Borussia Dortmund, Schalke 04 and Bayer Leverkusen. During his time at Wuppertal he suffered a severe ancle injury, which ruled him out for several months. On 2012 he has transferred to the Team Tus heven (Oberliga Westfalen).
On September 2014 he started to build a Youtube channel with his family members called Tamilfitnessmotivation. The aim of this project is to help and encourage tamil people all around the world to do fitness and have a healthy Lifestyle. And the second aim is also to show the elder generation the importance of fitness for their health.
On June 2017 he build his own Catering Company in Germany : Raavana Catering
